A Venezuelan walk for democracy and fair elections

London 14.03.06 | A small group of Venezuelans, amongst whom I count myself, shall undertake a week long walk for democracy that shall end in Brussels, seat of the European Union, in June. The aim is to raise awareness about the necessity of restablishing a climate of trust vis-a-vis Venezuela's electoral council, its authorities and systems. For that purpose we shall hand a letter requesting the European Union's support.
We are also looking for sponsors, to cover some costs, and for media groups interested in covering this event. It is to be noted that free, fair and transparent elections, a given in functioning democracies, are to benefit all Venezuelans, regardless of political affiliations.
