The Venezuela Connection strikes again: 3.2 tonnes of cocaine seized

By Aleksander Boyd

London 28.09.07 | Venezuelan drug smugglers and his Colombian partners are a busy bunch. This week another huge seizure, 3.2 tonnes, took place in international waters some 1050 miles from Las Palmas in the Canary Island, as reported by Reuters.

Only in June this year Spanish authorities seized 4.5 tonnes of the stuff in another ship that had set sail from Venezuela.

One must conclude then that the Venezuela Connection is alive and well while wondering what is comrade Hugo, bedfellow of Colombia's narcoterrorist group FARC, doing to help the situation.

Anti narcotics agencies the world over would be well advised in monitoring all traffic coming out from Venezuela; a gangsters' paradise.
