Venezuela's Eliécer Otaiza: "we must start hating Americans"

By Aleksander Boyd

London 01.04.05 | Eliécer Otaiza, former chief of Venezuela's political police (DISIP) and current director of Instituto Nacional de Tierras (INTI), expressed in an interview with Carlos Croes of weekly Quinto Dia "we have been preparing (for war against the USA) but now we must start hating the enemy and the USA is our enemy". Worth mentioning that Otaiza heads the institute in charge of the land grab campaign against private farms rolled out by the Chavez regime. He said that ten farms owned by the Vestey Group are under investigation hinting that a conflict could be had with the English.

Regarding war with the USA he mentioned "...this could be a prolonged war, lasting 7, 8 or 9 years, but it would be one of resistance for the "gringos" could destroy our entire military in less than two days. It's a very cruel situation for us and, of course, it must be understood that the whole country, and perhaps the whole continent, will be involved" (sic).
